Simple & Effective Approach
Conscious breathing is a meditation practice where you focus on your breathing to calm the mind and body. As we deepen our breathing into a slow and steady rhythm, we begin to release the tension in our mind and body. We then begin to sense an inner calm and as we continue to deepen the practice, profound experiences of clarity and peace arise within us. This happens naturally when we truly let go of the tension in our mind and body. Suddenly we can recognize that peace and happiness is not a destination, but an internal state free of tension.
Conscious Breathing
This is the next phase of the practice. We begin to turn our attention from breathing to awareness itself. Awareness is often overlooked in daily life, but through awareness we can break out of mental and emotional patterns quickly. The more we become attuned with awareness, it becomes easier to step outside of old mental and emotional states. At this phase of practice we enter deeper insight. We begin to truly see how much the mind brings restlessness and unhappiness. We see that the minds way of thinking is creating far more unhappiness, than life itself. Through awareness we can see through these mind patterns and begin to free ourselves from this self made prison of endless thoughts. This is a journey of profound insight and freedom.

Who Is Ray?
My journey began 12 years ago when I was living a completely different life. My internal state was full of suffering, I felt no joy or purpose in life, I was caught in vicious cycles of self destructive behavior. I was bringing pain to myself and those who loved me.
Then one day everything changed when I read about meditation in a martial arts book. I gave the practice a try and experienced such deep inner peace, calm and clarity. This moment completely changed my life.
For the first 5 years of my meditation practice I was fully invested because the inner peace and clarity it provided. Then my interest shifted more and more towards all the scientific studies on meditation. It gave me a more clear understanding of what was happening within me.
Now I primarily teach blending insight, science and my own experience of 12 years practicing meditation. This practice can provide remarkable change, healing and transformation for anyone who is willing to try.
